I own and EDC the CQC-6K. It's a sturdy and quality knife. The difference between the 3K and the 6K are the blade shapes and color. The wave feature is nice, and yes if you play with it enough it will wear out your pocket. The opening is smooth yet stiff enough to only open when you intend it to. I would highly recommend.
