I got one of these for almost 40 bucks to be my go-to beater work knife. Pried with it, scraped with it, split wood with it and generally abused it for a few months. Action was fine with the original teflon washers (replaced them with hardware store brass washers, bad idea), though the wave didn't work well with some pants and the thumb disk was difficult to use. The edge and tip held up admirably with no major damage despite a lot of rough use. The blade finally snapped as I was doing some light prying, likely because I'd already damaged the steel on a microscopic level. It broke right at the narrowest part near the wave where the thumb disk screws in, so the screw hole and disk cutout are a double weak spot on an otherwise strong design.
