WOW!! Just got mine - says 8100 on the blade. This knife is incredible. I have much worse that I paid twice as much for. First, the flipper has the most positive action of any of my knives, including the Tanto Blurs and the Spyderco Rubicon. You just put enough pressure on the flipper to get the blade started, and wham! It opens and locks like an automatic. The clip is strong and looks as good as my tanto blurs - it puts my Benchmade Griptilian's clip to shame. The carabiner and the other tool lock very well, and seem well made. The 8cr13mov blade steel is pretty well regarded.
