got the DIY on the last drop. Honestly not worth it. After a couple days of pretty much no use, just using the assisted opening many times, there was already some play going on. The carabiner is pointless and the whole knife has a sort of cheap, unnecessary feel to it with the multi-function. Bought a spyderco dragonfly 2 shortly after, which is a completely diff knife but the simplicity in a knife like that seems to go a long way. Just feels like a better made knife like it will last a long time. The kershaw I put in my center console and expect it to get no use lol.

mike8190that sucks to hear, because I had the opposite feelings for my DIY I got. I did sharpen it to my likening however and so far the edge retention is phenomenal after a ton of use. I haven't seen any loosening on any of the three axis. Maybe you just got a bad one.

patrainI agree. I have two DIYs, and just bought two more as gifts. They came pretty sharp, but a few passes on my Sharpmaker made it very sharp. The other tools are very useful. It has joined my SAK minichamp, and mini grip in my EDC rotation.
