I just purchased the same model Knife (Black handle )for 79.99 before tax
and after tax it was $87.19 from Turners Outdoorsman in West Covina CA.
Either way I love my knife!!!

Michael71That is pretty much full blown retail for the model you purchased with Sandvik 14C28N blade steel. The model featured in this drop has elmax blade steel which is a tougher steel with considerably better edge retention, hence the higher price. The specific knife in this drop is $100 and up anywhere else you look.

Additionally, sadly, the beautiful olive green version I got a while back cannot be had brand new (in Canada) for less than $90. My wallet hates me.
