I so desperately wanted the blackwash ELMAX version and requested the other day. Now there's only stonewash. Any chance you could add the blackwash to the drop? This is kind of my dream of an elegant working folder and I'd really love to have a black one...
BTW: Did any of you guys who got it on the last drop have a problem with ELMAX? E.g. there seems to be controversy about the edge being overheated in manufacture and therefore not holding an edge very well.

Unr3aLKershaw/ZT's ELMAX had some burnt edge (either HT or grinding, don't think they ever went public about the actual cause) problems in a batch or 2 when they first started making them, causing a lot of drama that didn't do much good for the popularity of the steel. I haven't seen any reports of the problem since though, and it's been reported to have better wear resistance, toughness and corrosion resistance than S35VN by quite a few that gave it a go.
You shouldn't have many issues with sharpening it either. Its toughness (it's been used in several larger custom fixed blades at around 58-60 HRC without issues afaik - the toughness has been said to be comparable to that of carbon steels) should prevent most chipping, and it's said to be easier to get a mirror polish on it than most steels.

Unr3aLI'm able to test edges with an instrument I have from EdgeonUp ... I use mostly for comparisons of scissors I import and/or sharpen.... and for knife work. It gives me a measurement base that I can compare efficacies of various edgework , steels and destructive testing. After an edges initial break-in ... the point where apical longevity plateaued its still a very stable and acute edge.... on mine.
