World-renowned knifemaker Ken Onion developed the SpeedSafe assisted-opening mechanism, and its application on the Leek has made this folder a staple in the EDC community. The Leek’s drop-point blade shape and slim, tapered profile allow it to excel in both slicing and detail work. Made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel with DLC coating, the blade is corrosion resistant and takes a good edge. The handle, also made from stainless steel, has a built-in frame lock for blade security, plus a tip lock to keep it from deploying accidentally in your pocket. Use the reversible pocket clip for easy carry on the go.

About Ken Onion
A former US Marine and avid knife collector since childhood, Ken Onion is known as one of the most innovative knife designers in the industry. The youngest member ever inducted into the Knifemakers Hall of Fame, Onion holds 36 patents and actually invented Kershaw’s acclaimed SpeedSafe opening system. A firm believer in American-made craftsmanship, Onion currently operates out of his workshop in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
