So I read the text on the official website but I'm still confused, is this knife assisted or not?

Yes, it's assisted. On the description for this drop (under specs) it says "SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system". The knife uses a torsion bar for this.

You can take the torsion bar out very easily. De assisted.

Problem is, customs will probably seize it before I would even have a chance to do such a modification.

but it wont get trough customs unless they would take the torsion bar out in the factory and write clearly on the package NOT ASSISTED. Else customs just keeps it.

exactly my point, it has to be done in the factory and tated on it. If you dont have the propper papers along with the package they will open it.

Not in switzerland.... it might get trough if you are lucky and the sender knows what to write on the package, but if they catch you later on with it.... you will have to pay a hefty fine, if not go to jail for simply buying/ owning / importing it... which is far too much of a risk to take just to have a assisted opening knife. I rather stay with my kershaw emmerson cqc manual opening :) Ok altough you could say that thing opens automatically if you take it out of your pocked the correct way xD
