Can I import this into Australia? Sorry but i'm very inexperienced with importing knives and I don't really know where to find the information. Thanks

FungusfengI'm not Australian but I found this: http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page4372.asp#CommonWeaponsList
It includes "assisted opening knives, one hand opening knives" under "Items that ARE or MAY BE subject to control" and nothing relevant that I can see under "Items that are NOT subject to control".
I also found this: http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page4369.asp
Which suggests you need a "written permission from the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, prior to the arrival of the goods in Australia" to import assisted-opening knives.
I didn't watch this complete video but you might find it helpful:
