Is the blade stainless? I have a similar kershaw knife and the blade got all rusty after a few years.

donatj8Cr13Mov is a stainless steel, though not great at corrosion resistance in reality. This blade has a coating though, which should help. Kershaw also uses 14C28N steel on other knives which has better corrosion resistance.
