Compact and clean, the Kershaw Oso Sweet is small enough to go virtually unnoticed in a pocket, but tough enough to tackle strenuous tasks. Its satin-finished drop point blade, made from heat-treated 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, measures just over 3 inches long Read More

I've bought 2 of these now (at different times). Both on here. Lost the first one, and just had to replace it, couldn't be without it. I have a moderate sized collection and this is my daily carry/"go to" knife. Just the perfect size, and perfect shape for my hand, opens quickly and easily (but not too quickly or easily), no frills just the blade, and it looks great. Great blade size and shape also. I was first turned onto this blade by "Nutnfancy" on YouTube, who'd included it in one of his table top reviews. Everything I've ever decided to pursue and purchase based on his recommendations his turned out to be aces. Anyway, found it here for a smoking price. Well worth every penny, and probably then some. Blade quality, handle quality (durability, feel) and open/close mechanism are all top notch and built to last, beyond my years. And you just can't go wrong for the $$ - what a great value! This was my first Kershaw knife, and I now have 5-6 different Kershaws. Love them all, and you can never go wrong with a Kershaw, but this one is my favorite. I will buy one of these for my son and my grandsons (and granddaughters!). And someone will be a lucky recipient of mine, when I'm gone. :-)
Voiceman1000I hear what you're saying, but cheap comes with it's own issues. I just received a Kershaw Entropy in the mail yesterday, brand new in sealed package. Not overly impressed with quality control - pocket clip was loose, blade rubbing against the steel liner, and lockup will need a serious tune up to make it close to usable. It will end up being a beater knife and I'll think twice about ordering a Kershaw again.
biophileI have six different Kershaw knives and haven’t had major problems with any of them. I’d consider your issue an anomaly considering the sample size. Contact Kershaw, their customer service is pretty good.
I've become a collector of pocket knives, but this one truly stands out. Excellent blade shape, the steel is easy to sharpen but still durable, the Speed-Safe flipper is great, and the pattern on the scales feels very 'grippy'.
Some of the very very old Kershaws I've owned started to loose their springy-ness on the speed-safe mechanism, but I hope they've fixed that over the decades and I assume they have. I'll add a reminder in my calendar to provide an update in ten years... My only feedback is that I would prefer G-10 scales - again, the pattern is great and the size of them is pretty good, but they don't feel quite as durable and grippy as G-10. Minor quibble.
10/10 - this is now one of my top3 pocket knives for everyday use, and at this price you should buy a few as gifts, to.
Kershaw and CRKT represent high quality knives at great values, especially EDC knives. The Kershaw Oso Sweet is one more example of the kind of reliable value Kershaw brings to the table.
This is another quality piece in the Kershaw Speedsafe line. The size is perfect for EDC and doesn't take up to much space in the pocket. The 2 screw belt/pocket clip can be oriented for carry in either direction, although on only one side of the knife so those that want a specific orientation for their hand (left/right + up/down orientation) may be disappointed. For the price this knife is hard to beat for the quality construction you get. By no means is this knife the top of the market, but for the price it's hard to find a competitor that gives the same quality at this price point.
This is a simple assisted opening knife. I like the almost mirrored finish on the blade and the assisted opening function. The plastic handle is a little cheap feeling but gets the job done.
Some kershaws or great beaters knifes n some not so much. While the also sweet is a decent work beater is has centering issues as delivered. One of the 3 clip screws striped out without me ever putting a Torx driver to it. I noticed during
a sharpening that my ciip was loose I grabbed some thread loc and pulled screws to apply one was looser than the rest n wouldn’t back out. Striped I took the other two out n then used clip to pull out. Mixed up a we bit of JB Weld apoxy
put a little around male & female threads
re installed. It’s holding great.
Love the speed safe flippers. My swerves
been a great beater.
The knife is very easy to open with one finger. The blade really keeps its edge and the handle ridges makes holding the knife very secure. I really love this knife!
This is a pretty cool knife. Easy to sharpen, nice point too. For the price it’s a no brainer. I have Boker and Benchmade knives but I use this one just as often.
