Only found out that this knife is Chinese made after I purchased it. Would not have considered it if i knew prior to purchase. Will wait to see how this knife is.

Not for nothing but at that price, where else would it be made?

At retail I would agree but seeing how MASSDROP is a discount site I figured (mistakenly) it might be an American made Kershaw, oh well. I did recieve the knife and the overall fit and finish is very similar to CRKT products.

Yep, I see your point. Although Massdrop discounts are not as good as one would want them to be. Also, even being China made, the Kershaws offer a lot of bang for the buck.

Oh I'm not knocking the value at all, it's quite reasonable just for me it's a thing to NOT purchase an American knife. My collection constists of traditional American slipjoints from vintage to new. A Chinese knife tends to "tarnish" the bunch.

Where are you going to find an American made knife of this quality and at this price?
