I love the knife, but I just have one question. It's really difficult to open the knife without flicking my wrist while pressing down on the thumb assist. It feels like a spring prevents the knife from opening half way, as if there's a resistance.
Can anybody enlighten me?

dleblancI've owned this knife in the past, the spring inside your knife may be defective. Contact Kershaw, they're familiar with this issue and can send you replacement springs.
