Designed by knifemaker Ken Onion, the Scallion is named for its small stature. At just 3.5 inches long in the closed position, it goes virtually unnoticed in a pocket. But its 2.5-inch 420HC blade excels in a variety of tasks. Great for detail work and everyday jobs, the blade’s recurve shape is also good for pulling through material. And thanks to Kershaw’s SpeedSafe assisted-opening system, it flies into the open position with a simple press on the flipper or thumb stud. For a comfortable grip in the hand, the Scallion’s handle is made from textured GFN. It’s equipped with a tip safety lock to hold the blade in place when not in use, and a pocket clip for tip-down carry on the right side.
