I'm assuming this would be one of the few knives here I could import into Australia? (anyone had any experience getting this knife in?)

LachlanIt Seems Like a knife that can be opened with one hand, even if it is not on customs own restricted knives list, when tested if the knife opens single handed the item will be seized.
Edit: Just had a look at a youtube video the knife does indeed easily open single handed.
Sorry to be the one to tell you, believe me i want all of these fantastic value knives as much as you do :P
Now you can always try to import it may it pass? maybe depends on the customs officer. If you don't mind the money, personally i wouldn't mind testing it for losing 17 usd. But you can also be fined and that is something i would not want.

TehCookiemonstaFYI, this knife is a little hard to open with one hand if the grip is wrong. Especially if the knife is brand new. I had to practice quite a bit to get it right and only after some time playing with it (disassembling and oiling included) did the opening get easy. So, I guess that if the customs officer is not an expert on knives, the Shuffle might get through as a two handed knife.

KAPS1M0Could be, But besides from that customs have a list of knives that are restricted imports so if this knife happens to be on the list well...
