But believe me when I say that this knife is great. Yes, it's not as hard a blade as others (it's 10 bucks, after all), but it holds its edge pretty well. And when the time comes that you feel the blade is getting dull, it is 2 swipes on a sharpener away from getting extra sharp. So unless you want it for hard work and use, a little honing is all it will need. Plus cleaning and oiling for proper care and maintenance, but that goes for every knife.
This is a great and versatile tool, even at MSRP. At this price, just go for it.
