I like Kershaw and ZT. Is there anything in their lines that is like this knife, but would be of better quality? I think for a tool you have to draw the line somewhere with quality vs. price. Case in point my spouse bought me a multi-tool a few years back that was so cheap, I was afraid to use it. That said this is a good looking knife and has a neat unlocking mechanism.

Blade style looks like a good working blade, but the wobbly mount H-Litch refers to disturbs me. Kershaw has always been my go-to low end knife, but I guess they've become like almost all the others, a name attached to a crummy Chinese factory. It's sad. I've been very well pleased with the two Artisan Cutlery blades I've bought here, though.

TGP389My Thistle does have a bit of play too, but not enough to cause me concern. I could likely tighten it up but like how easily it flies open now. I have much better knives but still like the Thistle. It is a good size, not too big or small and the handle still feels OK is my larger hands. The button liner lock release ensures there is no chance your fingers will be in the way when closing the knife. It passed the mom test. My mom will not even attempt to close most other knives in fear of losing a finger. Overall, I am a big fan of this cheap knife. That said, there is no discount on the price here(at least on this latest drop). It is usually under $15 everywhere. Last year I managed to grab a couple for eight bucks a pop.

Mine arrived, and... wow. This blade is wobbly AF. I'm getting more play out of this than any other low-cost folding knife I own.

Unfortunately it doesn't ship to the UK, I do want something more expensive in the future though.

I used to love Kershaw knives (may be still do, because of their Blurs and Leeks) but looks like they are becoming CRKT only with less creativity. Most of their new knives are cheap 8Cr13s which kind of all look alike.
