The first Kershaw Tanto Blur we dropped was an immediate success due to its solid construction and competitive edge, but there’s always room for improvement. Taking the original blade and giving it an exotic twist, the Kershaw Tiger Stripe Blur Knife has the features you trust and a unique feline finish, making it a fully reliable and fashionable pocket knife.
Inspired by samurai short swords, the Tanto blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N steel and coated in non-reflective DLC (diamond-like carbon) for corrosion resistance. Shaped to put more steel behind the point of the blade, the edge is hollow ground for extra sharpness and partially serrated for quick rope cutting. A high performance knife ready for whatever you need to cut, the Tanto means business, and so will you.
Again, a good knife is no good at all without a proper handle, but luckily for you, the Blur is as solid as they come. Shaped out of solid 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with Trac-Tec inserts for extra grip, you’ll never worry about mishandling the knife. Further cementing your safety, there’s a Speed Safe blade lock that keeps your edge in place. Once unlocked, the blade flips out with a flick of the thumb stud and can be easily sheathed with a little pressure to the interior torsion bar.
