I love the idea of this board, but the controls are not explained in the manual in English (nothing is in English) and all of the media functions only work on iPads ( and somewhat on Macs).

Disappointing, big time. About 5 weeks after receiving it, the top-left corner of the top row of keys (Escape through the 5 key) turned solid green. No amount of factory resets or charging fixed it - it's seriously distracting as hell and a dealbreaker. I requested an exchange/refund through Massdrop, and was denied due to the short window outside of the return period - oh, and no warranty whatsoever. After a back and forth with Massdrop support, I was offered $10 credit. No thanks. I'm done with this keyboard, Keycool and Massdrop.

Hardly pairs with anything and definitely won't pair with my PC. Regrettable purchase.

The case itself feels really premium and the lighting features are nice. Was using an Anne Pro and after a week with this one, I still favor the AnnePro. There is a huge lack of any guidance on how to use this board and there is quite a bit of features missing that even the 60key AnnePro is able to do and the backspace and ? keys are in really awkward spots. Also you can't really backspace the way you are used to with other keyboards, for whatever reason you can't quickly backspace on this keyboard. So if I'm trying to quickly delete 3-4 letters usually I'll tap backspace really quickly but it ends up deleting two characters only. The other keys also feel a bit weird, I don't know if I'm still adjusting but I can't seem to type as fast as I can with my AnnePro.

Have enjoyed it quite a bit so far, just wish it came with instructions on how to use F-keys or toggle the lights. Google-able but still. Nonstandard backspace makes me sad too.

I just received this keyboard recently. Initial impression is very nice. Good solid build and heavy - the way I like it. However, after 2 days of use, the keyboard stopped working completely. No lights, no response... nothing is working even when connected via USB. I am hoping this will be a easy fix but if not, I expect to get a replacement ASAP!

Initial impressions-- the keyboard is heavier than I expected. This would be a good thing when used on my desk but bad if I have to travel with it in my bag. Typing with the Gateron browns is very nice...quieter than my blues but with a satisfying clack when bottoming out. It will take time for me to get used to the placement of the backspace, ? and del keys. Pairing is easier than my Anne Pro. RGB lights are nice and customizability is what I have come to expect from Keycool keyboards. Glad I got this and I hope its durable.

First off, I really like this keyboard. The primary use is for work journaling in the field, I do between 6 and 8 jobs a day that need to be logged into Evernote and this little dude works great with my iPad. The only reason that I am docking a star from the review is the lack of instructions and the lack of firmware updates. It should also be noted that this keyboard does not seem to have programmable layers, but this is not a big deal for me. It may have layers but without proper instructions it is hard to tell. Previous to this I was using an Anne Pro and the Bluetooth is was better on this board, the backlighting is not as good as the Anne Pro, but it doesn't even have shine through keycaps so that is expected. The odd shaped keys-Backspace, Right Shift, why is the ? in that spot, ect- take a little getting used to but are quite manageable. If you are looking to get a great 60% size with arrow keys, you cant go wrong. If you are expecting this to be the best keyboard ever, maybe pass. I would buy another.
