Thanks, that's helpful. This actually looks like a pretty nice board. My only question is whether it's wiser to get it here with a projected delivery date in May or from Ali-Express.

Glad it helped, the board does seem very decent for the price, I just bought it here since I trust drop more than I do aliexpress but I'm sure it'd be the same product

Great link - thanks! Many pics, including some that strongly suggest a proprietary programming capability.

Massdrop sucks with their product details. That's why there's always hundreds of questions in the discussion.

Through Google translation it's a little confusing. It seems to have onboard programmability, which is neat, but it's not clear to me that you can change the function of the base keys, and if the manual is in Chinese it's not going to be much help. For example I'd want to change the backtick and delete keys into home and end keys, and it's not clear to me how I would do that from the information available here.

Yea the translations are very rough, I also would like to rebind quite a few keys but I guess I'll wait till the board gets here to figure it out. If you come across a better resource please send it here, I'd appreciate it.

Tysm for the link. I'm gonna have to skip out on unknown Chinese software though.

Fair enough. I do agree that QMK would be brilliant. My mileage varies though - I have a fairly low bar to get over for programmability (it needs to be there, but I'm probably going to use it once ever), as I tend not to use layers much if at all. I really just want to be able to force on-keyboard CTRL/WIN/ALT to map to work mostly like MacOS. I'm trying to bend reality to match my muscle memory, basically ALT/WIN/CTRL so the third key in from the left works for CTRL-C/CTRL-V etc. Yeah, I know this can be done at the OS level or in SW, but my work issued laptop is quite locked down so I'm unable to remap on the Windows side.
