Manufactured by Gateron, the Keyfirst Cream switch is both colorful and fun to press. With 4 millimeters of total travel and an operating force of 62 gf, it’s a bit on the bulkier side—but its self-lubricating stems make each keystroke a frictionless experience Read More

They're most certainly smooth, I'd say this is better than Gateron Yellow's but these still aren't the best, but you shouldn't expect them to be. Definitely a good alternative to Alpaca's or NK Creams...
As always (generally), remember to lube your switches for maximum enjoyment. Scratchy and pingy out of the box. Smooth, silky, and light after lubing. These switches have a more muted clack (versus CJs for example) and feel light and airy to type on. There is some slight fitment lash, so filming these switches (along with lubing) is recommended.
These creams are definitely sweet enough for me to buy them without giving much thought in the future. I am rather good at typing. There is also a guy on the web that proclaims that he can type like 170 words per minute. I'm sure with these switches I can out type that guy. Realistically, I can't type 170 words per minute, but I can go rather fast though.
These Creams are light and smooth to type on. If light switches are a problem for you, then you may want to consider something heavier. As for me, its more like gliding across donuts and strudel that have just been baked and ready to go out of the oven.
It was a joy typing on them for the first full day without any signs of fatigue on my fingers. If one is thinking of purchasing or just wants to be colorful, they will definitely make your board look better if it is a low profile and you will probably also eat pastries to complement them. I really like the color, which is the reason for the frequent references that I have made to them.
been addicted to Linear switches for a while now and i'm able to stay accurate with these switches. I have also increased my typing speed switching to these switches. 10/10 would buy again
These are my first set of 70 switches that I've purchased that didn't come with a KB and aside from the case colors, I can't tell the difference between these and Gateron Reds that came with my KB with a 40g spring.
If you care about your RGB these will significantly dim your LEDS - something I didn't take into consideration coming from a clear switch housing. But it doesn't bother me, it actually gives a nice effect when my KB is lit White, it's just dimmer. These will show you just how good (or bad) your Shine Through caps are.
Overall, I wanted a thoccy linear to replace clicky blues on a new keyboard on it's way (red' s were out of stock) , and these are excellent after lubing with 205g0.
The switches sound wonderful, but rather than drop sending them in the usual trays switches I’ve purchased from them come in, it was just a bag. As a result, most of the pins were bent, and four switches didn’t work altogether. The switches themselves sound and look lovely, even stock, I don’t feel the need to lube or film these yet.
Switch is smooth and has a nice bottom out sound. Tried using films, but they don't clack that much without films, so I left mine unfilmed. In terms of sound and feel, they feel like a smoother Gateron Yellow. Very similar to Gateron Robin and Merlot switches. Spring weight is nice, similar to Alpacas.
Will definitely break these into a board someday and test them out more.
The feel alright, very smooth, but my issue comes from the housing quality. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but every time I tried to pull them out of my OLKB, they top housing would rip apart. This issue was consistent with my Q0. I would only recommend this product if you've tried them out before and you're not going to be removing them with a switch puller. Specifically an IC extractor style switch puller.
The listing says these are rated at 62g operating force, but they feel much closer to 40g. I compared them to some BSun Red Pandas (rated at 60g) and it's not even close. I feel like they're even lighter than a standard red switch, but I didn't have any on hand to compare. That said, the switches are quite smooth out of the box. The stock switches have a bit of spring ping, but they sound fine after a quick bag lube with some GPL105. Not a bad switch for the price, but the listed weight is way off. I would recommend these, but only if you're into light switches.
