QwervyNot really, they just get broken in and become slightly smoother due to the POM. Self-lubricating is really just a marketing term.

DanzoI think broken-in and getting microparticles of the original material acting as a dry lubricant is different. Edit: E.g. Brass, carbon bearings, and talcum rocks
