I there a way to know that these were not box mapped or weighed? not trying to question the company's integrity, just skeptical from being hurt by things like this before.

ticksamWe are definitely aware of mapping and only work with our closest vendors on any M:tG product that involves "loose" packs. These are vendors that we have worked with closely and have made sure that they share our concern for the community before allowing them to offer drops like this.
There are a few things that we have done to address the potential mapping issue. First and most important is encouraging you all to come back and let us know what you opened in your packs. This increases transparency and lets the community pitch in with monitoring the packs that are going out.
Additionally, we spend a lot of time checking in with our vendors and going over the process they go through in fulfilling the orders. The particular vendor involved with this drop has even made full video of the fulfillment process available to us to audit.
It is too bad that mapping is an issue in our community at all, but Massdrop is extremely committed to protecting against this sort of behavior.
