DarkZe0nYep. I was excited when I saw the KTK box, but where the hell is this MSRP $144? I can get this for cheaper at my LGS.

ItsaMeAlexIf your LGS will sell it for cheaper then go that route, but mine uses the MSRP and only offers a few bonus packs with a purchase. Honestly even at 105$ Khans is one of the most potentially valuable boxes in a while based on fetches alone so I still see this as a deal (at least as far as sealed magic stuff is ever a deal).

thatpinguinoYea, but everyone will buy cases of booster boxes, and fetches will be dirt cheap after ~3 weeks. SCG is preordering fetches at $20, and with an expected 3.4 fetches per box you're looking at an automatic $60-$80 a box just out of fetches. That obviously can't last as EVERYONE will be opening boxes.
This will be one of the most opened sets in a LONG time, and everything in it will be devalued accordingly. Large supply offsets the large demand.
That's my 2 cents. Won't be ordering at this price.

JumbybonesEveryone knew fetch lands were good when Zendikar block came out and it was one of the most popular sets of all time and those fetches are still over 50$. This reprint is introducing the allied fetchlands to modern and they already had a big market. If you can get fetches for under 20 bucks in 3 weeks then trade for them or buy them because they aren't staying that low.

$19.99 pre-order. Don't take a second mortgage out to buy them though. They'll fall after they're opened. I guarantee it.
Also, zendi fetches have increased steadily in price because they're the only ones modern-legal, and Modern is a growing format. Once Khans comes out they'll drop as well (I will be replacing misty rainforests with windswept heaths in my Melira Pod modern deck, for example). That being said, some decks will still prefer zendi fetches.
If onslaught fetches were simply replacing zendi fetches in modern completely (Pretend all zendi fetches were banned) then these new fetches would probably get close to those prices.
Another point is that more people are playing now than back in zendikar times. So more product will be opened. I see probably 1.5 - 2 times as many Khans fetches coming out as Zendi fetches did. Also, there's some other sick cards in this set.
Again, just my 2 cents.

thatpinguinoThose fetchlands from Zendikar ( that everyone just "knew" were so good ) were at about 15 dollars during their time in Standard. This will be much the same until rotation.

PailOfAwesomeSo if you plan to play for longer than the two years these fetches are in standard then stock up in while the fetches are in standard.
