Good for me: I bought one of these direct from Kinesis a couple years ago. Very cool keyboard and the onboard software is intuitive and clean. I really enjoyed being able to slide the right portion of the keyboard out of the way when it came time to game. I recommend the $50 worth of lift kit and palm rest components if you decide to get one. Having them all really brings out the full experiences intended in the keyboard's design. Bad for me: Ultimately I ended up returning everything to Kinesis, which they kindly accepted for a full refund. I tried, but just could not deal with the solid blue backlight for the keycaps (!!!). I can't recall having met anyone who claims to have sensitivity to red light, but there are plenty of people, including myself, that are sensitive to blue light, particularly the intense kind emitted by LEDs. I don't understand manufacturers' insistence on embedding obnoxious blue LEDs in their hardware. I think Kinesis dropped the ball by opting for solid blue instead of user configurable RGB, or even just plain red. I would have paid an a bit more to keep the blue away.
