The King's Dun Tool Kit is a very economical, good quality, and complete kit to perform basic repairs and upgrades on many Apple products such as the Mac Mini, iPhones before the X series, and iPads before the current generations of iPad Pros. The kit includes the essential torx bits and handles and the spludger and pry tool. Never attempt to repair or modify an Apple Product under warranty or you'll lose the company's vaunted customer service. Never attempt to work with electronics or microelectronics without taking precautions about static electricity (anti-static bags, anti static wrist straps, pads, or workbench--referred to as ESD for Electro-Static Discharge), heat, dust, debris, fluids, abrasives, corrosives, and electro-magnetic sources that may damage electronics. Know the physical and electrical (schematic) layout and what to expect before doing anything. However, if you do know what you are doing, the kit is a must have, along with a digital multimeter, micrometer, the aforementioned dust strap, canned compressed air, isopropyl alcohol solution, distilled water, electronics cleaning swab sticks (wooden q-tips), microfiber and lint free cloths, and for the really ambitious, an oscilloscope, Dremel rotary toolkit, a digital microscope (such as a Celestron with a USB interface), flip down magnifier on reading glasses, and a digital soldering/de-soldering station. From there, you can get into port and cable testers, network signal strength (ping or echo) testers, cable crimping or "telephone" tool, and other tools. Art this price, this kit is a no-brainer. Especially if you want to upgrade the RAM in a new Apple Mac Mini, which Apple allows you to do--even with third party RAM (often significantly cheaper and available with lifetime warranties).
