Overpriced in my opinion. MicroCenter has the OCZ Trion 150 Series 960GB SSD with Toshiba TLC NAND flash for $209.99 (TRN150-25SAT3-9). Are those extra write IOPS really worth another $80? I don't mean to be snarky; I really want to know why there's a price premium on this product when others are offering similar specs at much lower rates. Does HyperX include data migration software like Samsung's Magician or Crucial's Acronis True Image?
FYI - I've had 4 of these HyperX SSDs (albeit smaller sizes), and two of them failed almost immediately, with a 3rd failing after 13 months. I still have one working, but I'm no longer relying on it as a boot drive like before. They are fast and I'm not saying these will necessarily be bad purchases, but caution is advised.
Really disappointed in this, waited for over a month with the money taken out of my account only to be told it has been cancelled and to wait for my funds to be refunded.
My first (and probably last) purchase from MassDrop. These are available from other websites, the right thing would have been for you to buy them and honor your sale with us albeit losing a bit of money. Should have just gone with Amazon. Pretty disappointed as this looked like a cool idea.
