Solidly built product
There was a learning curve when we first got it but quickly became easy to use. Have made several decorative things out of wine bottles

On perfectly cylindrical bottles it works like a charm however if they are uneven and/or conically shaped things get veeery difficult...

I agree with others it’s really hard to get a straight even cut- I have not yet accomplished that.

It's impossible to get the cut circle to join up unless you just get lucky. Been a bit frustrating. As others have said, the success rate is very low. Around 25% for me as well. Seems to be well made but without some way of cutting a circle that joins, I waste a lot of bottles

First time buying a bottle cutter kit. Quality is okay, although it could be more solid and precise. It is hard if not impossible to obtain a perfect circle but you can somehow even it out with sandpaper (except if you go spiral or move the cutter too much, then it's game over). Requires quite a bit of training so don't start on fancy bottles you saved to make your new favourite glasses, vases, etc. A bit on the expensive side but a nice gadget to fiddle with and make some fun home stuff.

I've purchased several bottle cutters. In several price ranges, this one being the single most expensive kit. Sadly, I've yet to find one that does as it promises. This one is not a bad one, but it's certainly not the solution. I'm still looking. Success rate at this point is right around 25% with this.

My success rate is below 50%. It's hard to not get a spiral.
