Normally items from massdrop don't take anywhere near this long, or if they do there is prior notification. If you're still waiting on the vendor, just letting us know would be great--the holiday weekend was two weeks ago. When the item is supposed to have shipped to you twice, I don't think weekly updates from you to us would be asking too much.
