AUTigerFanI am unable to re-download the app, and there’s no website from the manufacture or any number to call. I’m stuck with an over-priced paperweight. I reached out to Massdrop and they said that since it’s past the return period, they can’t assist me.
rf9661I'll see if I can extract the app from my phone and post it here. I welcome any advice on how to do so - the most recent versions of iTunes no longer copy the apps to my backup on my Mac, at least in a form that I know how to access. So, I think I will have to buy some third-party software that copies apps from my Phone to my Mac. Again, I welcome any advice and first-hand experience on how to do something like this. The app is working on my iPhone 8 under iOS 13.5.1.
There are several indications that this item might have problems. 1. When I entered the web address given on the box I was warned that “this may be an attempt to obtain personal information“ 2. The phone number given on box doesn’t work. 3. when I downloaded the app on my phone, the only stat it gives is my weight. 4. After installing the app, I tried to move it to another scree. Instead of the icons showing that they were able to move (by wiggling) the only given option was to share. I was able to remove the app but I don’t trust anything about this scale other than the weight number given.
Anybody know if this integrates with Google Fit, Strava, or Garmin Connect?
I see one post from 40 weeks ago that it only works with Apple Health; I'm hoping that's changed.
On the fence with this scale but leaning toward joining the drop. I’m using iOS 11 and I can’t find the kissfit app on the App Store. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks
edit: I have metal implants in my shoulder and hip. Will this effect any of the readings?
Took ages for the app to connect to the scale... Swapped batteries, restarted phone, reinstalled app... No idea what actually did the trick but it seems to be consistent now.
I have a Spinal Cord Stimulation device inserted on my back, can I use this scale? This is like a pacemaker but for your nerves. anyone know? I bought it but im afraid to use it until verificatio.
RabbitmanAs rf9661 said, it'd be best to consult with your physician first, but it should be fine. The amount of electricity used for bioimpedance body fat testing is teeny (2 volts) and it's dispersed throughout your body tissue as opposed to being conducted through your nerves. The only solid contraindications I could find for bioimpedance testing was for people with pacemakers.
