The Kizer Rattler is so named due to its textured titanium handle. The scales are milled with a snakeskin texture, just like the venomous snake that lends the knife its moniker. This Rattler bites, too. Flip open the 3.6-inch S35VN blade and you’ll be prepared to cut, pierce, skin, and more. The blade’s recurve profile adds to the reptilian aesthetic. Thanks to the titanium frame lock, the blade won’t budge when open. Whether you want to carry the Rattler on the right or left side, the titanium pocket clip can be swapped back and forth.
Note: Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy (CPM), which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
