Does this one has a lockbar insert?
Mine does...It arrived from Massdrop maybe a month ago. It’s one of my favourites in my collection.
Aaaand because “pics or it didn‘t happen ...” :-)
Great photo! Thanks for that; it really brings out how vibrant those scales are versus the drop pix, where it looks like pink and baby blue stripes. I wonder how they got that ‘tie-dyed’ look without tying the scales up in knots like a t-shirt, lol?? I do love that look...so...there goes another hundred bucks...*sigh*
Actually that’s a great question, opening up one handed kinda sucks unless you use the flipper, the thumb stud is (at least on mine) utterly superfluous. The flipper open action is nice and smooth though.
I find I can only reliably close the knife one handed by pulling on the frame lock with my index finger as opposed to using my thumb (which is my usual technique) but it closes nicely once you get the technique down.
I took mine apart and oiled, smoothed the action by playing with the detent and it flips like a dream on both the flipper and stud. If you maintain your knives they are a lot better than from factory.
