With the concave shape of the blade it looks like it would be a pain to sharpen

greggulatorSomething like a Spyderco Sharpmaker will make easy work of this, or any knife with a recurve, for you.

greggulatorAgreed, I was thinking of it for $84.99, but that shape would be fairly annoying even with belt sharpers.

greggulatorOnly with a traditional stone. Easy enough with Sharpmaker or edge pro. Field touch ups can be done with Blademedic type or with diamond rod. Even a Lansky puck.

MasmgrifMaybe I am being a Luddite, but the Lansky or Sharpmaker type setups always feel gimmicky and cheap to me. I've always been able to sharpen all my knives, axes, etc. to my liking without anything but regular stones and a little patience. I've also never seen the need for any recurved blades or serrations. A properly sharp blade should be able to handle what you are cutting. I can feel myself getting older typing this and all the sudden I feel the need to yell at some kids to get off my lawn, excuse me I gotta go Matlock is coming on.

greggulatorHaha, at least you own it man! Different strokes... I think this looks like a pretty nice knife for the price, but it certainly would be an acquired taste.
