I suggest you watch the YouTube review of this knife by Nick Shabazz before you make a decision on purchasing. Apparently, the flipping action sucks, the hardware sucks, the bearings suck, and the blade positioning within the scales can cut you.
Just watched the video.
1st I have to say that overall I like Nick's reviews but he also overdoes it a lot and nitpicks on a lot of things most people won't.
If you see that a company has used a too strong of a loctite, just boil your knife for 15/20min and you'll be able to remove the screws without stripping them. That's just an example.
2nd, even if you are a true follower, at 11.15, he says he would still recommend it at 100 bucks. we're 20 bucks below his recommendations :D
Personally, I'm glad for this drop (my wallet isn't :D).
Lol all he does is bitch about every knife he reviews
Well, though Nick has a point about the poor quallity screwes he himself said he likes it though he did mod his own knife, as well, as @bdpf said you can simply boil the knife or use a hair dryer to simply unfasten those butter-soft/mashed potatoes screwes, plus considering this price... Hell yeah! My wallet is crying out loud :P
I think shabazz sucks, he doesn't even use most of the knives he reviews.
@Bluefish I am pretty sure your claim has no foundation. You see Nick EDCs each and every knife/gadget he reviewes for quite a period of time to provide the viewers a good understanding of what he feals, most of what he reviews are loners so he simply can't keep them...
Otherwise he has his own collection that consits only from those knives that he considers perfect so he doesn't need most knives because they aren't as perfect.
I am pretty sure you are a fan boi, you probably fantasize about him whispering in your ear with that ridiculous accent.
I also bet you have lots of pretty knives that you never use and certainly cant sharpen... why dont you go cut something, you are an idiot.
Wow way to act like a little kid grow up mate no need for that
Dude if you can't take my opinion about your obscurde thinking please, cry more.
P.S: I own quite a collection of knives that you can only dream of and I USE them all depanding on mood.
Yep but he's not going to get that he's one of those people were his opinion is right no matter what ignorance is bliss I guess
A- You can't spell
B- I have over 3000 posts on bladeforums and 2000 on CKTG.
C- I sharpen professionally and your hero has reviewed knives I have sharpened, surprised he hasnt cut himself
D- I sure don't dream about your knife collection
One last note, if you rely on this buffoon to guide your knife purchases I feel sorry for you.
Pretty good deal on this knife, if you have room in your display case buy one, you will probably never flip it anyway...
I am out....
O wow it takes so much skill to sharpen a knife lol and with your attitude I'm surprised you have any customers you're a snob that thinks because he's posted some shit online and he can sharpen a knife he's awesome your far from it tens of thousands of people can do if not more and yes they can get a mirror polished and a hair whittling edge yourre not special mate nice try though
I might not be able to spell everything correctly but I am not a native speaker, so I don't worry about it too much since I can deliver my point with ease.
Making lots of posts doesn't make them good or smart posts, quallity isn't measured by quantity.
You might discover as well that being a "proffesional sharpener" doesn't take too much skill, I am not one, but I sure am able to put a razor sharp, mirror edge on any knife.
Last thing to mention, no one is my hero, I rely on my own opinion and knowledge, though I do like hearing someone elses opinion since it gives me another perspective, for good or for bad. The one that feals sorry for someone here is me, I don't know where did you get so much hate from, and really think that what you said in the first place isn't correct as a fact not as my opinion. Let's dont act childishly, best regards and have a good day.
