I wish the charging connector was something more common, like micro USB. That way I don't have to carry a bird's nest of proprietary cables for EDC.

WikiCopterMaybe if there were an adapter from microUSB to their magnetic connector. I can see a built-in microUSB port being the first point of failure

wooferI'm not really worried about that.
We trust micro USB for the vast majority of our electronics. Almost all phones, aside from iPhones, use micro USB. The connectors go through literally thousands of cycles of plug in, plug out, and also undergo a lot of related stress, but still function fine.
I think the same connector would work fine on a EDC flashlight.

WikiCopterOh, I'm not worried about durability. It's the potential for water infiltration and needing to deal with a stopper or seal that I see as an additional issue
