Bonus hidden Easter Egg feature!
Just carrying it around in a pocket, it turns itself on, at High intensity, and becomes a thermonuclear heat exchanger!
Which says a lot about the battery and run-time, I suppose, but it's never cold here, so that feature isn't useful for me.
Anyone know a simple way to lockout the (protruding) clicky switch?
SpecialEdUnfortunately the common method (and I HATE this method) is to turn the tailcap 1/4 turn so that it breaks contact. It's referred to as tailcap lock-out.
It works, but makes activating the light a 2-step, 2-hand process.
If you like lights, and want to find some amazing alternatives. r/flashlight over on Reddit is an amazing community.
aremihcMore like a full turn plus a half-turn to break contact, so 2 full turns for certainty.
I'm aware of the flashlight forums...I can't afford to visit them, but thanks for the suggestion (free sample).
