Ok, it seems this has been bought before. Can someone comment on durability? I want this to take it camping/hiking, for my eldest scout, etc. I wont spend that much money with the reviews on durability. I want it because usb recharge and that swivel head has me in love. I want it in my pocket lighting my path, I sweat too much and my head lamp gets me too wet/hot.

rac_sword2I just joined this drop, but I already have another klarus (model xt115) I use mine for work all the time. Been really impressed with the quality! Mine takes a beating and it's still holding up well. USB charging works well. The 18650 it came with is pretty decent still holding a good charge over a year later.

NowhereUSAThanks. I joined the Nitecore one with the 90 degree head as well. Just used it and it’s a bit finicky when it attaches to something with the magnet. That jarring move does something that forces it to blink and sometimes shut down. Other than that it works great and it’s very bright.

rac_sword2Yeah hopefully it holds up as well as my regular one. Got this for work since I do communications and I'm often in basements etc. The angle head and magnetic base should prove very useful. I'll review it once I get my hands on it and can give it some abuse!

TolnikYeah just took a look. They are pretty similar slightly higher output and micro USB connection external charging connection on the Klarus. Looks like it's based on the same chassis though.

NowhereUSASo a few months later... Still working just fine but the head has loosened up quite a bit. It won't droop from it's own weight but it's a little annoying. Aluminium has taken a few dents and dings nothing major. Overall not bad
