I have the KMC 1 version that i use for travel. Amazing sound and the best bass out of all portables I tested. KMC 1 is smaller, has built-in rechargeable battery and can be plugged in.

Don't understand the desire for this? No li-ion battery? The sound would have to be significantly better than the smaller options that will run for a full day without recharging. I would only consider this option if you plan on leaving it plugged in full time, not a good solution for mobility.

I bought one of these when I worked at Best Buy through the accommodation program. It's a very good speaker. Little bulky, but sounds quite good. Significantly more low end then alot of competition speakers. I do, however, prefer my JBL Extreme, due to battery life, water resistance, carry strap and ability to charge other devices off of it.
Keep in mind, it is not rechargeable, you need batteries to run it. Also, right now you can get this in blue Prime'd to your door for $199.99
