Hello friends. Would you rather have the Klipsch powered monitors that are currently going for about 350$, or this set-up. I am torn

BryonmedinaHonestly this set up. I’m not ordering as I already own (and love) a pair of the R15m speakers. I think the little amp would make this super versatile; if I’d seen this when I was putting together my secondary set up I would have pounced on it.

zanthinethanks for the response. How does the amp, make your set-up more versatil? Inputs? Outputs? Other variables?

BryonmedinaI got speakers primarily for my turntable. I ended up buying a pre-amp and a power amp to run them. I do heart the sound, but the little amp would have been both cheaper and more streamlined. And you could also tie in a digital source. It just seems like a good solution, you know?

zanthineI hear you. I would have hoped that a powered amp would have made those accessories unnecessary, but I guess, that in your opinion, the sound was insufficient without them?
