The cheaper version of this (same design) has some serious quality issues; the rubber on the control panel eventually peel up after mere weeks (see my picture below). Numerous complaints on Massdrop about this. The sound is fantastic, though. I'll have to see about a warranty exchange.

ChicagoDoodIt looks funny, but I’ve got the R6 version of this and it’s a fastastic design as far as comfort goes. But I’m not sure what makes this headset $300 more than the R6 version at full retail
