Update: my X6i finally shorted out and stopped working. The mic went first then one ear, despite keeping them carefully wound & protected in a round hardshell case and using them sparingly as backups (because the sound quality for music is truly awful).
Klipsch has been bought out by VOXX and I hear things are rapidly changing there for the worse there, which if these are a reflection of their direction I will have to agree.
toronksusame. only been 3 months and klipsch wont honor their manufacturers warranty since massdrop is not an official reseller. i emailed massdrop a week ago and they have yet to reply.
I really feel I need to weigh in on these headphones. The sound quality is poor. I have had SkullCandy headphones I have picked up at TJMaxx that sounded infinitely better. Also, the build quality just isnt there and I fear these will not last long. But that may not prove to be the case since in all likelihood they will get tossed into the nightstand drawer in favor of a brand with improved sound. I rarely bother with taking the time to write a negative review but these were just disapointing. I recommend moving on to something else.
$59.00 on Ebay from Buydig. Obviously they have a better deal. But why? Is it because there are only ~40 people that joined this drop? If more people were to join would the price go lower? Or if one or two people were to buy a lot of these ( say 100 ), would the price go lower as well?
1995The x11i which were for $80 and said they had an msrp of $350 when they released and they also were not in audiophile category either. Not many reviews on YouTube of them and had the same build quality issues.
If I remember correctly a couple months ago they didn’t sell well either and think they should be priced $20 cheaper which is a shame because I have the Klipsch s4m which I’ve had for a few years for like $40 and sound decent for the price but are THE MOST COMFORTABLE in ear I’ve ever tried!! Klipsch does it right with comfort but comprise on build and price most out of the market with crazy $350 msrp when you could get amazing renown Iems for that or less
These get a lot of flack for maybe being delicate or something but I genuinely don't feel like these are that bad quality-wise. Their build quality has improved from the previous generation products to the point where I don't worry as much about durability anymore. Based on how the cable is built and connects to the earphones I certainly have tried to take care of these earbuds a bit more carefully than I do for some others. The sound quality is really quite good though very very respectable for this price and arguably better than the 1more triple drivers in almost every way. The fit of the earphones can be a bit finnicky but they give plenty of tip options.
