In the interest of fairness to those that might not otherwise know what a 20 degree bag looks like... this ain't one. Hate to be negative, so I'll say that its a real good deal for a 40 degree bag. Compare this one to the 600 down fill Sierra Designs bag also on this site rated to 28 degrees. Klymit might have an oz or so less in materials weight, offset by the 600 down fill weight of the SD. So, if you hold everything equal, the Klymit bag has about 10oz less down in it. That's a lot.

scopeLooks like it to me too. How is that temperature rating worked out? I'm used to seeing a 3 temperature scale like +12, +5, -5 degrees C, which means something like comfortable, bearable and extreme. So when a single temperature is stated what does that mean? I would find it very hard to believe this skimpy looking bag would be comfortable down to -5C.

scopeI watched a review on youtube and the guy said he slept in this exact bag at 28°F and was comfy. I plan to test it at near that same temp so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
