Good value and comfortable
I've used this several times, and it has worked well for me. The last time I had to use it was when we were moving, but the power went out at the old home for 4 days. We slept on these in our empty new house on the concrete floors. Slept just fine. Would buy this again if needed.

Warm, Comfortable, bit narrow
I found it to be warm enough and comfy enough, but also staying centered on it and not moving at all can be a little difficult. I know it's expected for these pads to be pretty thin, so can't mark it down for that.

Good insulation and back care.
I wish the Marine Corps would have had this item to hand out when I went through Infantry Training School (ITS) at Camp Pendleton in 1979. We had a blow up mattress, but not nearly as good as this one. The Corps has a very stiff foam pad now, but this Kymit Static V Recon Sleeping Pad is pure luxury. Let's be honest as we get older and still want to be able to do the outdoor things we want to do, a little luxury for the back is a very good thing. A good nights sleep can make a world of difference on your performance the next day. That and a good cup of coffee. I am glad that technology is creeping into the more manly outdoor activities. If I were still in the Corps today I would use this rather than what is provided at CIFS or whatever 782 gear is being used for a ground pad.

was good for trekking but after about 2 weeks of usage starts losing air until flat

Didn't know what to expect, & was impressed.
Didn't know what it would be like since the last time i used pads, closed cell & self-inflatables were all the rage and uncomfortable at that. On the short amount of time i used it, it didn't leak, & could sleep sideways without feeling the ground. Only time will tell. Will definitely buy again.

An update on the Klymit mat after 3 uses it kept on losing inflation after ten minutes or so. for this reason it now becomes a item to avoid. Looked for leak couldn't find one

This sleeping pad is so much better than any pad I have ever used, half the size and weight. Little bit of a challenge to blow up with smokers lungs but there are ways around that.
