not useful for long needles at all - the cup tips over. I’ve repurposed it for pens/pencils/sewing items on my craft table. In that application, it works great and is super cute!

This is a cute but lightweight pencil holder that won't work well for most knitting needles. It's good for crochet hooks and short knitting needles, and awesome for pens and pencils as it was intended. I bought two and will have to find other uses for them. No regrets aside from wishing they would work the way I wanted them to.
