+ sturdy, many compartments, zips are great
— abit on the heavy side, leather handles crumbles over time
all in all, a very decent work bag with plenty of compartments to put your laptop and peripherals and more!
I use bags such as this design daily for work. Unfortunately, this bag was not up to the task as was retired quite quickly. Not being particularly hard on my bags (I keep a laptop or tablet in them, so it’s not like they’re being tossed around mindlessly), this was a rare disappointment for me in contrast to my other positive experiences purchasing through Drop.
I would not recommend this product.
This bag has held up to my abuse as my EDC bag since the day it arrived. Every item I want to carry fits nicely with a room enough for whatever I might pick up throughout my day. The zippers are superb in size and durability making me confident of the safety of items in all the pockets. Overall the hardware is not only durable but also has the refined appearance that often is missed on much more expensive luggage. I suspect this bag will carry me through many years of hauling around my laptops and other tech accessories, pens, first aid kit, grooming kit, documents, and various other odds and ends I can't leave home without.
I really, really love the pockets and the thoughtful design that went into them. Up front is a microfiber-lined pouch for you phone--one front pocket and the large middle section both have interior organizer pocket panels for pens, wallets, and the like.
Comfortable to wear, well balanced.
As other reviewers have noted, the chunky zipper takes some getting used to. I also had to clip off some stray threads when I first received it. Otherwise completely satisfied.
The zips are annoying, and some of the stitchwork makes me wonder if these were B grades. But the price is right and the product as a whole is fantastic. A mildly refined V2 of this bag would be an instant purchase for me.
This is a great bag. The strap is wide and well built so it’s perfectly fine for my walk from my car to the office without a pad. There are lots of pockets so I can attempt to be better organized, but it still works as a “throw stuff in” bag.
