In 2011, Knottery New York began with only $500 and a desire to create a new kind of luxury product. Produced in Germany in a factory that works with well-known, high-end brands, Knottery New York’s silk knit ties boast the same premium construction but with a more reasonable price tag. To ensure the highest quality possible, each tie is first carefully knitted using 100-year-old frames, hand-sewn down the center seams, and then individually placed on wooden molds for a few days in order for the ties to take their traditional shape.

Measuring 2 ½ inches in width, and 57 inches in length, each silk knit tie features a dense woven pattern, which makes for its desirable “crunchy” texture. Arriving just in time for the warmer months, these knit ties are offered in an array of different colors, making them summertime essentials that pair well with lighter seasonal fabrics such as cotton and linen.
