LuisBucadJoin the club. It's so old I forgot I ordered them and when I contacted (Mass)Drop they said the order was too old to verify the shipping status. When I look it up on USPS the tracking doesn't show it was ever delivered. Last time I use the service unless I get my money back.

only 547 hours? That means they will burn out pretty quick if you plan on keeping them on for 5-6 hours at a time. Like in 3 months.

Is it just me or are these bulbs energy wasters? An IKEA Tradfri is rated for 600lumens which is nearly twice the output of these bulbs while having an energy consumption of 8.6W, which would be less than a third the power draw of the bulbs. This would mean these bulbs are around a sixth in energy efficiency than the IKEA ones and those are not even the best out there. Am I missing something that makes these bulbs good aside from the price?

Have these even shipped yet? The most recent info from USPS was shipping label created back in January, but it hasn’t updated since. The expected ship date here is Mar 13?

A word, since I have some already. No, the are not all that bright. And while you can hold the bulb to screw them in you must hold their base to remove them as they will separate. They are specialty lighting and at its least expense end. I use them in conjunction with other lighting and am satisfied with their cost and efficiency.

does the bulbs work with a dimmer light system?

HampoonAccording to the Amazon listing, it has a "feature" of "dimmable" but the remote control has brightness up and down buttons. I would assume it would not work in a standard incandescent bulb dimmer switch depending on the age of the switch. An LED's brightness is adjusted by pulse width modulation, not by increasing or decreasing current. That's not to say all light switch dimmers are the same, though.
