I find that the stitches do not drop off as easily on these needles. I purchased the angled 9" circular 3's and they make knitting socks a breeze. Have been wanting the whole set ever since, but didn't want to pay $180. I would suggest grabbing these before they are gone at this price!
catknitI thought it was 2 5s that didn't work but it's worse as it's 1 size 5 and one size 6. Sadly they can't exchange but can only do partial refunds. Am hoping to get enough to be able to buy replacements.
I got my needles yesterday and started working with them last night. I really enjoy this system, although one of the prongs on a size 11 needle wasn't properly spaced and it did come loose from the connector. Luckily, wool yarn in that weight will stay where you put it so I didn't end up with any dropped stitches. I feel like now I know what to be on the lookout for, and have really enjoyed working with these needles while watching webinars today at work. I'm making a hat using the magic loop with the 32" firm cables and I am loving the experience so far. By now, my other interchangeable needles would have started to come apart from the cable, no matter how tightly I'd joined them.
I know these comments stay the same each time this product is offered and I would definitely recommend them so far. I'll update if this ever changes.
Update 26/11/18
I've had these needles for nearly a year at this point. I still like them well enough, but prongs of these cables can only take so much disconnecting and reconnecting before they stay kind of pinched and slip out of the needle tip more easily. I've been using T-pins to bend the joins back into shape, but that solution works for a limited amount of time, and then the join seems permanently disfigured. At this point, I still like these needles for cable work but tend to reach for my Chiaogoo interchangeables for most other types of projects.
For me, I live in a very busy house, with a lot going on all the time. Keeping track of 2 separate needles would just be too much trouble, when having everything on one needle is so much easier for me.
