Bought them for last year’s Classic Sweden 110km hike. At start of this year’s edition, one of them felt off (unstable). Didn’t find what was wrong until that one broke in half after 90km. Checking the other one at the same break point I noticed hairline fracture starting from both sides and took a picture (see attachment).

I do not over-screw the clamps too tight, so it wasn’t the stress from that that caused it, it is simply bad manufacturing.
Had 1 pole as deadweight in pack and 1 wobbly pole to finish the 2nd hike with. Stay away from this drop
Used this poll on TMB. It feels strong. Not the lightest, but will survive. No bent. Locking system feel secured. Overall recommanded, and with the drop price it is a bargain.
