Komperdell Ridgehiker Cork Powerlock Compact

Inspired by athletes’ spirit of adventure, Austria’s Komperdell has been making ski poles and alpine gear since 1922. Lightweight but ready to stand up to plenty of abuse, the Ridgehiker cork trekking poles are great for trail runners and hikers looking to shed weight without sacrificing durability. Each pole is made of 7075-T6 aluminum and has Powerlock 3.0 locking mechanisms that allow for easy, on-the-fly adjustments. The ergonomic cork grips are made to fit comfortably in your hands and have integrated woven straps help prevent slipping when wet. For power, the Vario summer trekking baskets provide increased traction in dry and wet conditions, while the tungsten and carbide flex tip are designed to bend when the tip gets stuck to protect the shaft from structural damage. Finally, each pole has a maximum extended length of just over 55 inches and packs down to just under 26 inches.
